are full of Florida's fresh citrus fruit. Here's a sample of the
variety you will find during the year in our very special boxes.
Oranges
Depending upon the season, our gift boxes may be full of savory
Navel oranges, the easy-to-eat Florida orange (Nov - Jan). Or juicy
Hamlin, a flavorful favorite (Oct - Jan). Or the extra juicy and
sweet Pineapple Orange (Jan - March). The outstanding Temple is
also deliciously fragrant (Jan - Feb). Florida's finest eating orange,
the Valencia is a delicious pleaser loaded with golden juice (March
- June).
Tangelos
Colorful and delicious, this marvelous fruit is actually a tangerine-grapefruit
hybrid. Orland Tangelos peel very easily and are renowned for their
flavor (Nov-Jan). The Honey belle Tangelo is larger, flavorful tangelo
(Jan-Feb).
Tangerines
All of our Frostproof Groves tangerines are rich and sweet. This
premium quality fruit is truly delicious. The Honey Tangerine is
honey sweet in flavor, is a big favorite with Tangerine lovers and
offers rich, distinctive taste (mid Jan - March).
Grapefruit
The largest member of the Florida citrus family, these grapefruit
are appealingly fresh and loaded with vitamin C. Including the traditional
Marsh Whites (Oct-June) or the Marsh Reds with their rosy red delicious
sections (Oct-June). Another variety, the Duncan although seeded,
has the finest flavor of any Florida grapefruit (Oct - June).
